Ditch that Shake—This Shamrock Smoothie is a Charm
Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and even the most finicky eaters will drink up this yummy green smoothie. Sweetened with mango and pineapple, it’s half the calories of a fast food Shamrock Shake.
- 2 cups spinach or kale
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup frozen cubed mango
- 1 cup cubed pineapple
- 1 frozen, peeled and sliced banana
- In a blender, combine the spinach and coconut milk. Purée until smooth.
- Add the mango, pineapple and banana and blend until smooth.
Serving size: about 1 cup
Saturated Fat: 5g
