Rustle Up a Batch of Healthy Trail Mix
Get outside and enjoy the day, but don’t forget a snack. Try this healthy trail mix packed with sweet raisins, crunchy pretzels and peanuts and yummy dark chocolate. Make it ahead of time so you can grab and go. It’s diabetic-friendly and heart-healthy.
- 1 cup Cheerios®
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1 cup (about 1 oz) mini pretzels
- 1/3 cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Store in plastic bags for up to 2 weeks.
