Get Physical When You Watch TV

Fitting exercise into your daily routine has both mental and physical benefits, some of which we covered in our recent article: Sit Less & Live Longer.

The average American watches TV (or Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.) for about five hours a day, according to the latest Nielson study. That’s a lot of time spent sitting, especially since so many of us also spend our days behind a desk. Don’t be a couch potato – tone up when you tune in!

Try working out while you watch your favorite show. Here are four ways to get moving without missing an episode:
