Happy Horticultural Therapy Week!
It’s National Horticultural Therapy Week, and at MossRehab’s Alice and Herbert Sachs Therapeutic Conservatory, they’re celebrating a proud tradition of rehabilitation through gardening activities.
The bright, spacious conservatory is a source of quiet contemplation for patients, staff and visitors, but under the supervision of a registered horticultural therapist, the conservatory’s activities are also designed to help rehabilitate patients with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, stroke, amputation and other conditions.
The conservatory is a recent National Garden Bureau Garden Grant finalist and recipient.
