…although it’s most important to sleep in a comfortable position so you get the best sleep possible.

Side Sleeping

Most people sleep on their side. It’s a good position for:

  • Heartburn
  • Acid reflux
  • Heart conditions
  • Pregnancy

Back Sleeping

Sleeping on your back may help with:

  • Spine alignment
  • Back and neck pain
  • Allergies
  • Nasal congestion

Back and side sleepers should sleep with a pillow under or between the knees to relieve joint pressure.

Stomach Sleeping

Stomach sleeping may improve:

  • Sleep apnea
  • Snoring

This position can put a lot of pressure on muscles and joints, however.

A good night’s sleep is good for your health. Sleep well!
